The applications that Creative Suite 3 is composed of (including: Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop and others) installs by default various other shared components (such as Adobe Bridge, Device Central ect). Some users may want more control over what they want to install, so to activate a dialog box which permits you to select which components you wish to install all you have to do is follow these seven simple steps. (I recommend you make a backup before continuing)

1. If you have bought the CD installation you´ll find the payloads folder in the CD. If you have the executable installation open it and wait while the contents are extracted. After you have extracted the files to your My Documents folder a new folder will be created called Downloaded Installations.
2. In that folder you will find a folder with the name of the application you wish to install. Open that folder and then open payloads.
3. In a folder called AdobeDreamweaver9en_US (Dreamweavers case) you will find a xml file called AdobeDreamweaver9en_US.proxy.
4. Open the file with Notepad and search for <Requires>.
5. Delete everything between <Requires></Requires>.
6. Save the File
7. Execute and install.

The names of the files and folders here mentioned are for Dreamweaver CS3. Other names for other Adobe products are similar, the only thing that changes is the product name and a few other things. You should be able to get to the file with no problems.

As aplicações que compõe a Creative Suite 3 (incluindo Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, entre outros) instalam por defeito vários componentes partilhados (como Adobe Bridge, Device Central, etc). Alguns utilizadores certamente preferem ter mais controlo sobre o que é instalado. Para activar uma caixa de diálogo que lhe permite seleccionar que componentes quer instalar, pode seguir estes passos (faça backup antes de começar):

1. Caso tenha optado por comprar o cd de instalação, encontrará a pasta payloads dentro do cd. Caso tenha apenas um executável para instalação, abra-o e aguarde que os ficheiros sejam extraídos. Após a extracção na pasta My Documents será criada uma pasta Downloaded Installations.
2. Dentro dessa pasta encontrará uma pasta com o nome da aplicação que quer instalar. Abra essa pasta e depois abra payloads.
3. Dentro de uma pasta chamada AdobeDreamweaver9en_US (no caso do Dreamweaver) encontrará um ficheiro xml chamado AdobeDreamweaver9en_US.proxy
4. Abra o ficheiro com o Notepad e procure por <Requires>.
5. Apague tudo o que se encontra entre <Requires></Requires>.
6. Guarde o ficheiro.
7. Execute a instalação de forma normal.

Os nomes de pastas e ficheiros aqui mencionados são para o Dreamweaver CS3. Os nomes para os outros produtos são semelhantes, apenas muda o nome especifico do produto e pouco mais. Deverá conseguir chegar ao ficheiro sem problemas.
